Rhode Island Comic Con has arrived!!!
Fans have been waiting for months and finally the time has arrived. Next weekend will be the 6th annual Rhode Island Comic Con!! If you haven`t already, you certainly want to make plans to be at Rhode Islands largest event November 10th, 11th and 12th 2017!!! In past years, the Con has taken over the Rhode Island Convention Center and The Dunkin Donuts Center and this year will be no different. Due to the pure size of this event, it will be expanding once again as it takes over the Omni Hotel ball rooms in downtown Providence. In addition to expanding into the Omni Hotel, there will also be an 18,000 square foot heated tent behind the Dunkin Donuts center for even more Comic Con activities.
This annual event coming to Providence is certainly a win-win for the Capital and the state in general. Fans come out from all over the globe to enjoy Rhode Island Comic Con, dine at local restaurants, relax at the great hotel options and enjoy the night life that the city offers. The event itself may start next weekend, but the setup and everything that goes into producing an event of this magnitude starts early in the week.
Some of Television and Films biggest stars will gather at the Con this year including William Shatner, Elijah Wood, Christopher Lloyd, Sebastian Stan, Robert Englund, Dolph Lundgren, Kiss front man Gene Simmons, Paul Reubens, Michael Coulter, Dave Bautista and Jason Isaacs!!!
Get ready Walking Dead fans!!! A Walking Dead reunion of sorts will take place at this years Rhode Island Comic Con featuring cast members past and present including Michael Cudlitz, Khary Payton, Michael Koske, Tom Payne, Jeremy Palko, Jon Bernthal, Norman Reedus, Lennie James, Ross Marquand and David Morrissey. There will be a special Walking Dead Q&A session Panel at the event itself!
Rhode Island Comic Con weekend culminates with a special Gene Simmons Band concert at The VETS on Sunday evening November 12th at 7:00pm! Tickets for the concert can be purchased at www.ricomiccon.com
Over 100 Celebrities will converge to Providence, Rhode Island for this EPIC EVENT known as Rhode Island Comic con!! What better way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Iconic birth of THE HULK than to have the two most recognizable HULK actors in one building???
